As the leaves turn vibrant hues of red and gold, fall becomes the perfect backdrop for love stories. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to step into the role of a second photographer for Rocha and Co Photography at a mesmerizing fall wedding hosted at Stone House Lavender in Fairmont, West Virginia. In this blog post, I’ll take you behind the scenes and share the magic of capturing the essence of love amidst the picturesque landscapes of this charming venue.
Nestled in the heart of Fairmont, West Virginia, Stone House Lavender is a hidden gem that exudes rustic charm and natural beauty. With its sweeping views and serene ambiance, it provides an idyllic setting for couples seeking a romantic and intimate wedding experience.
Fall weddings are a special treat for photographers, as nature becomes a stunning canvas of warm tones and textures. The rich palette of autumn foliage served as a breathtaking backdrop for the couple’s portraits, creating a visual symphony of love and nature. Lavender Barn’s sprawling grounds, adorned with rustic barns and open fields, added a touch of rustic elegance to the celebration.
This first look I captured was truly so precious. Through the looking glass, we can see what an embrace seeing each other meant to each other in this father & daughter first look! As a second photographer, my role was to complement the primary photographer’s vision (Rocha & Co. Photo) and ensure that every precious moment was immortalized through the lens. Luckily for me, Chelsey and I have the same vision. To capture this day with the feelings and details into one.
Fairmont, West Virginia, proved to be an enchanting locale for this celebration of love.
Lavender Barn, with its rustic charm and scenic landscapes, provided the perfect canvas for this love story. The venue’s unique features, including barns and open fields, added character to the wedding photos.
Thank you for viewing this blog about this lovely wedding I got to second shoot! It is always such a pleasure working with Chelsey as always!
