Nestled in the hills of West Virginia is the beautiful Tuscan Ridge venue. I am so excited that I was able to capture this family/engagement session at Tuscan before their wedding.. because I have the privilege to capture this lovely couple next month get married with friends and family there! How special to have your engagement AND wedding at such a beautiful and charming location? It will hold so many memories, and it will be amazing to look back on.

The indoor space in the main house is stunning. I think as photographers we see a space and envision about 100 ways of what we could do with it. That is how I felt here, SO MANY OPTIONS. But I knew I wanted to stay simple, so I focused our indoor time on the white wall and the staircase. Because come on, that staircase is beautiful, how could you not want pictures there?!

Outdoors we took pictures on the back porch, but then the sun came out, so I made them take a few more with the gold sun glowing on them. So glad I did this, because these turned out to be my favorite!
